Surprise Surprise Surprise

I do not know why people are surprised that Donald Trump will not disavow the KKK's head man and the support that he wants to give. Donald Trump (DT) has not lied or hid anything about who he is. He has put his whole attitude out there, and the American people still stand up for him.

There is something about a person that tells it like it is and does not apologize for what he says. I worry because there are so many out there saying that he is not conservative (nope he is not), and that he is not going to win the race. Well, I sure wish people would get their heads out of the sand and wake up. He is winning because we are tired of the establishment. That is all. (Funny thing? We elected the establishment.)

He is saying what America feels. This is the day and age of feelings and making sure none are hurt. Well, DT is so not PC and that is what is appealing. People want to say they do not care anymore, but if that is true, it takes away what has made America so great. We are a tough people that have ancestors that fought for the right to be here and the right to be happy while we are here. We are a people that have stood up for rights across the world, making sure that others who wish to enjoy the same freedoms get to, or at least, get to try. (That is another conversation for another day.)

We are a people that said we alone make decisions for ourselves. We have slowly given up small rights, like the right to pray. There is a right to those who do not pray, so why not for those who do? (Deeper conversation on this can wait.) Our allowance of the erosion of our small dignity rights has brought us ot the point that DT looks good to us as a president.

A man that has anger issues and no experience handling them will have access to the power of the military. He will be our Commander in Chief. This is a very disturbing thought. I am sure he would not anger the powers of the world and then use our power. He would hold himself above pettiness and get to the root of the issue and work on it.

I am sure he will be a responsible president and keep our relations with the foreign entities open and fair dealing. I am sure he would help balance our budget and yet keep America strong.

These are the things and more that he will have to do. He cannot deal with anyone without losing his temper, what is he going to do with people that have hostages or that threaten us? Are we going to be part of a bigger war?

Too many scary scenarios here. Then we have Hillary Clinton (HC) who is a Democrat that has been there before, She helped run the White House when her Husband was there. She knows the ins and outs of the government since she was a Senator and the Secretary of State (SoS). This is where the problems come in. SoS HC was part of the Benghazi issue, and has been known to have classified information on her personal email server, even after she said she did not. Even information on Benghazi and the threat that pertained to it.

This is public information and  can be found almost anywhere on the Internet, yet we choose to ignore these facts and elect her as the top runner in the Democratic race. I guess running against a self-disclosed Socialist has to be the reason. We are not that ignorant, right? BUT, look who we have to vote from. Maybe we are.

Republican and Democrat or Independent

During this presidential race, I have heard nothing but ugly. I listen to talk radio and watch the news, so I know what the public are saying. That is the problem, what they are saying.

I understand having a candidate that you want in the White House, what I do not understand is not voting because your candidate did not win the primary. Not voting in the election because your candidate did not win is RIDICULOUS.

Not voting for say, Donald Trump, because he was the one who won the party is like voting for the other side. You might as well be a Democrat and vote for the Democrats if you do not vote at all. It is your right as an American to vote.

Freedoms that we fought for are crumbling and if we do not vote, then we are giving a right. I do not understand how a person can say they are an Amercian and not want to vote because they are, basically, throwing a temperature tantrum?! We are a society founded on certain rights, not voting gives them away.

I cannot imagine how the people that fought for the right to vote are feeling when they hear these fanatics say they are giving up that right. I know that my candidate will not make the cut and I will have to vote for someone that I did not want to, but I will still vote. Will you?

Please go to the polls and vote. No matter what, you have to at least try.

It Is Done!

The primary is over and I for one am blown away. It Is Done. We have thrown our hitch to the Trump wagon here in South Carolina. That can only mean one thing; we are tired of politicians. We have a great one in Rubio, but we here in South Carolina do not want to have  a politician in the White House. Personally, I can understand, but that is not reality.

How in the Sam Hill is he going to keep us from being blown to smithereens? He is going to curse someone out and they are going to open up a can of you know what on us. In my opinion, the rabble rouser will do just that. He will incite problems that are going to outshine the horrible truths in this nation. We are living off of GMO food and we use food to create gas to put in our cars.

These issues do not get looked at, and in order to keep our eyes averted, there is the ideal of an America that will sit behind its wall and be in no wars, bust instead will sit at home being American. I am not quite sure what people are thinking, but we need someone who is going to help us deal with our issues, not close ranks and bury our head.

Ignoring the issues of today, how will we deal with tomorrow if we do not have someone there that understands what it is like for those that work and worry over the issues. What about farmers? What about cotton mills? Are we going to ship all of our cotton industry overseas?

My six-year-old niece asked me about things made in China and Mexico. I told her I did not know why it was that way, other than epople wanted to be richer than they already are. Then I thought about it, if we want to build a wall to keep Mexico out, why do we send out cotton industry across the border?

Seems to me that if you want something one way, it has to be both ways. Either we want Mexico to stay in Mexico or we want freedom to deal with Mexico. We are electing the craziest candidates. Makes me wonder, can we write in Howdy Doody?

Still in Politics

It seems that if you ever enter the world of politics, you never leave. Just like a career politician, once I started on this path, I am here for life. After all, there is always another person that needs to be looked at for a public office. I am going to do the best I can, once this election is over, to stay out of the political arena.

So, Donald Trump, the man that keeps telling us he is rich, and he is smart, and he is all that and a bag of chips, with the crumbles. I am wondering if we are going to end up with just crumbles in that bag? Well, let's see.

He started out for abortion, and changed his mind and became pro-life. This shows he is not too full of himself that he cannot admit a change. He wants to wall us off, is that just on Mexico side, or is that all away around the borders? Is that wall to keep them out, or us in? Now, as far as anything else goes, he does not seem to have much to say on these issues except some remarks about how he ahs evolved in his thinking like Reagan did.

I am a Republican, and I know our country was a military powerhouse, but that is because so much money was spent on defense. I did not prosper so much under the Ragan regime. I did, however, prosper under the Clinton regime. Like they are rulers instead of puppets. I am not sure how Clinton did it, but he really got us, or people like me, a little extra money in the pocket.

I have no money in my pocket, and no money as extra to help anyone else. It would be nice if Donald Trump could help us all be rich like him. I will work for it, won't you? Either way, I am still scared about the vote that is coming up.

SC Primary and the Damage

I live in SC and have had the unfortunate time to listen to the primary commercials and the inundation of calls and the craziness of the people, and I can say I do not like it. The commercials take over and are anything but helpful. They bash the other candidate, that is their own party mate, but yet leave the field wide open for the opposition. I am frustrated to say the least. I used to think I was a Republican, but I have to wonder if there is even a real Republican party.

I cannot think this is the way the party wanted to be represented in our society. I am not sure what the Republicans even stand for anymore. They have no real platform, they are all just busy trying to tear each other down. I wish I knew what they were trying to accomplish with this ugly battle that was had here on the stage for all the world to see.

There is no cohesiveness anymore in the party. Even Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are leaving the Republicans alone. They know that the Republicans are doing the best job of it, so why bother to do any more damage. After all, I am not sure that the party will survive if Trump wins the Republican Primary.

They all hate him, yet he is loved by the American people. I have been investigating the other candidates, maybe it is time I look at Trump's platform. I know that his supporter thinks that we should not vote our theoligical standards, which I cannot see how we can do that. If I did, I would not vote because I do not agree with a lot of what the candidates say on abortion and immigration.

No one even speaks of the GMO processed foods and the disappearance of the farming industry. This scares me, but others do not seem to even notice. If we grew more food, we would have more oxygen in the air and plants to fight the global warming stuff. These fake foods cause me a lot of issues and I am not the only one.

There are many people that do not even know that they are allergic to these foods, and they are sick. Many do not recognize that they eat these foods, and since it is so new, how do people know what it does to their bodies? Scientists creating our food in a lab is wrong on many levels. But this is not even an issue on the radar of our candidates. Maybe I am the only one that thinks about these things.

Another Politician

I am in dumbfounded astonishment. There is so much junk out there that we cannot find the truth without being a researcher. I want to know what they stand for. What is there motto or statement of intent. I have researched the issues and Ted Cruz. The page that gives his issues lists nothing about abortio, stem cell research, science worries of any kind. Like these issues do not matter, or maybe they don't. I and my husband may be the only ones that worry about the way our food is being made.

I do know that Ted Cruz says he is against abortion and will investiate Planned Parenthood, but I had to explicitly Google the question. The list was about Defense, Cuba, North Korea, China, Immigration but nothing to do with how we are going to live. At least Bernie Sanders wants us to live for free off of the rich.

Now if you adde Ted Cruz Issues, there is a boatload, but still nothing about Genetically Modified Foods or the like. So these issues will have to be laid to the side because no one seems to ask any questions about them.

Ted Cruz has a stance on many issues, like gun control and foreign policy but no statement of intent like Bernie Sanders has put out. We at least know how he wants to create his Socialist Society, but no statement from Cruz summarizing his opinions. So we must look and see that he is  against immigration to the point that we will be walled in. Biometric doodads and such saying that this creates National Security. Are we going to wall off Canada or just Mexico?

At least, he will let us keep our guns. This is a good thing since we need to protect ourselves in a crisis. He wants us to have a flat tax, which I wholeheartedly agree with. A 10% tax rate for ALL Americans is fair and just.

His idea of less government encroachment sounds good. Not using Executive Actions, or Orders will be nice. Letting the State run its government will also be nice, but can it happen now after the laws are already passed? We are watched by the government in all that we do and I cannot see them giving up their hold.

His ideas sound good, but I wonder how much he can do. Don't you?

Dagnab Politics

I am starting to do research because I am so fearful of who will be elected president. I want to vote and say I did this or I did not do this. If I want to complain about the situation, then I must be part of the situation, so to speak. I also want to make sure that I am part of the solution. This is why I am starting my research on the candidates.

Bernie Sanders: Self-proclaimed Socialist. Want to tax the rich so much that the poor (me) are taken care of. The problem with this? There will no longer be any rich to run the corporations and such. If the person that is not willing to work gets everything free or handed to them, how are they going to know how to contribute to society? And if they get everything for free, why should others work for them? Seems to me that this plan is doomed to fail because you cannot give away everything, then expect them to start working for itor expect others to keep paying for it.

This idea seems so good and alost utopian, but it is not feasible. Making sure everyone is taxed the same and paid the same creates a country of nothings. Where would the drive be if I did nto have to work for it? I have free food, free school, (for what?) and free health care. Now that sounds great. Who pays for it? Those that went to school on loans, and those that what? Own a business? Who is going to do that when they cannot get people to work?

When an idea sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Socialism is not a bad thing; it is just a pipe dream. I do not mind working, but I want others to work too. If we all worked together and pulled our fair share, then there would be no problems with helping those that cannot help themselves. I have a problem with those that can work, but refuse to do so.

Would he drug test the reipients of the resources he is providing? After all, if everything is handed to you and you do not have to work, what do you do with your idle time but get high? That is what happens npw, so I ma sure this will happen in the future. I know not all recipients are like that, but there seems to be a runmning trait in this class.

I knwo people on food stamps and government assisstance, and they are wonderful, hard-working people that give the clothes off their back to you. Then I know some that have stated they have childen because it pays more than a job. This is a sad fix that Bernie Saners has offered. I hope people think about the  real issues and vote the way America needs, not the way they want to live, free from repsonsibility.

AHHHH!!!

I think I am going to run screaming into the night, and let the men in the white coats carry me away. If I check out of the real world, maybe I can deal with the future world that is coming. I am terrified of this future we have allowed ourselves to create. The political arena is a joke. We have elected jokers and tyrants to the political seats that have the power over us. They control everything,

Now, they want to make it mandatory for us to get children's shots, even if the parent's say no, and the pediatricians now are required to give children mandatory mental evaluation tests. I am in fear of this. I know I would fail one of those tests, yet I am not a menace. I take medication by choice, but at 13, a teenager should not be judged by this test. At 13, we are all crazy. I cannot imagine a future of our leaders on drugs, controlled by the pharmacy companies.

No one seems to be looking at this picture the way I do. They already have most of the children on some type of drug because they are ADD or ADHD. I remember taking away sugar and having no problems because I disciplined my daughter. But now, our children are judged to be this because they are not disciplined for their behavior. If we do anything besides time out, we are judged to be unfit parents.

Control is slowly being taken away from families, and families are slowly becoming extinct. It is a scary thought, but as we change our views on family, we have changed the dynamic. Changing the dynamic, changes the way we reproduce. Allowing this change has created horrific questions that I am not willing to look at quite yet. Reproduction and advancement was once a God given right, but now seems to be falling into the arena of political contol.

Once again, we allow contol over our lives, and our most intimate rights. What will we allow next?
It may be aquestion worth asking. If only people would.

Drugs

I have a question, and it is deep. Where is the line between addiction and necessity? I know a person that is in so much pain that he cannot function without his medication. It is an opiate and he has to have them every four hours. His pain never goes away, so he takes more than prescribed. Is this addicted? I am not sure.

There are times that I have to take my medicine more than prescribed because I am in such pain. I have been known to take two at one time in order to keep the pain away. I am a firm believer in drugs. Does this make me addicted? I cannot go without it, but that is because the pain will become unbearable with the fibro. The pain is not kept in check very well, but without the medicine, the pain becomes like body neuropathy.

So, again, is that addicted? No. I need the medicine and I will take it until it no longer works and then I will get something stronger. I cannot deal with the pain, but I can deal with the drugs, even the side effects. Walking a line of need or addiction, I am not sure, but I do know that without, I am like poison to myself.

There are other ways that I keep the pain away too. I have to supplement my medication with other medication. Is this a start to addiction? I am not sure. I just know that I will take my drugs and not say anything about anybody taking drugs. After all, I may be addicted.

It is a vicious cycle that drugs do to me, though. I was always a happy person, then I developed fibromyalgia. Then I started taking medication for it. The medicine causes me to have headaches, so there is that medicine. That is two, then it causes me to be depressed. So, now I am in pain, depressed, and have constant headaches.

Now I have to take drugs for the depression, the pain, the headaches; all caused by a fall at a person's house. AND I had to pay for the chiro visit after the fall. Good deeds and all. I would do it over again, I just would not fall.

Even though I have an excuse, does it make it right for me to take my medicine differently than prescribed? I have talked to my doctor about it and get leeway about it, but that does not excuse it, or does it?

Friends/Family

I w.ant to speak a little on friends that become family and family that are friends. There is a great distinction between the two. The ability to have family that become friends is great and almost normal, but the friends that become family, that is indeed rare.

Friends are quick to change course, and family have a tendency to be fickle, but when you get both in one, that is a wonderful boon. I have not ever been able to really experience this until I met my sisters in Church. These Sisters give me a rare look into what it means to be a part of that. I have a sister in blood that is a great friend, and one that is a sister, but to have a relationship that makes me want to cry with the love I feel for them? That is definitely something new for me.

I had friends that I trusted with my life and my deepest secrets. They taught me to be more careful with my secrets and my friendship. The need to share was my own, and it was my bad. I will not ever trust like that again, but I still love and give. I know if I need someone, I have a Sister I can call, but they can also call me.

I know they are there for me, whereas my blood sisters are the bomb. I have one that allows me to walk in and out of her house constantly. I so appreciate her and all that she is. I have not ever met another like my sister, and I am so blessed to have her. She is amazing and is my friend. I have the best relationship with her, and I am so grateful that she allows it.

I have been blessed to have both in my life, but I have also been blessed to learn lessons from friends. These lessons did not scar me, but they did teach me to keep my business, my business. I appreciate that because I know now not to overshare. Like I said, that was my fault. I learned.
