I woke up this morning thinking what a beautiful day. It was raining outside of my window and it had not rain for days so it was a beautiful sight. As I drove to work I prayed. As I prayed thanking God for this day I realized all that it meant. I was given this day to grow, expand, and create.
This day was a gift to me and I just came to realize that. this day was a gift to me and I just came to realize that. I know that everyday is a gifts, and I am thankful everyday for it. For some reason this day stands out special.
I know I cannot take anything with me but I sure can take my memories. My memories are also a gift. Believe me I know this because I do not always have a good memory. My short-term memory has not ever been really good. As I get older I realize that I remember less and less in my short-term memory. I know there are memory exercises that you can do but that is for long-term memory. Short-term memory is a whole different ballgame.
You know what I mean, the times you are supposed to put something on that list and by the time you get to the list you do not remember what it was you were supposed to put on the list. when you walk through a door and you realize that you do not remember why you walk through that door I know they say these things happen with age but you have to realize, I am only 48.
My grandmother on my mother's side had Alzheimer's. I am constantly worry that the genetics were passed down. All of my family has bad short-term memory. So it is not anything new in the family to be affected by this. But since we do have bad memories, I think we are candidates for the Alzheimer's disease. Of course my mother is 75 and she still has all her faculties. This does give me hope. But it can also skip a generation and therefore lies my worries.
These words are insignificant the really. All of my family seems to how to write those lists. If we didn't know how to write the list, then that would be the worried.
I am writing this blog from my phone so if anything goes wrong, it is because I am on speaker alphabet for the phone and I am talking to it I am writing this blog from my phone so if anything goes wrong, it is because I am Talking instead of writing. I don't know about you but I write much better than I speak. I am at work so I will close. I just want you to remember but today is a gift and so are the memories that you made today make them well.

Oops...I did it again
I have not started singing Brittany Spears, but oops...I did it again. I have not kept up with my blog. I have not kept you informed on the fascinating insights into my mind as it wanders across the pages of life. I have no way of knowing or remembering if I do not write it down. It is so easy to let the days get away from us and before you even realize it, weeks have gone by.
Time seems to be relative alright. It relates to how old I am. The older I get, the faster it seems to move. I am not the only one who notices these things, but I cannot talk to myself about them, because, let's face it, that is just crazy, and others do not care about my opinion, yet. One day that may change.
I am trying to find jobs for companies that can help me build a portfolio. I am excited about the prospect of having jobs, and cannot wait to get started, but I am not sure how to start. So, I am trying a new strategy, and if it works, I will post it. If it does not work, well, then I am not hurting anyone by not saying anything.
I am new to this thing called marketing yourself. I am not sure how to go about it. I have asked people but they just say post to Facebook and Twitter. Well, that is all well and good if I have a following, but I do not. I cannot market myself if I cannot get my name out there. I try and I try and I try, but as of yet, no partakers. Every time I think I have a job, I did not have it.
I thought I might have a genealogy blog, but that stopped cold too. I have announced it on Facebook that I have a blog but as of yet, not more than 20 readers at any one time. I only think I made that much because I had a class that linked up to my blog at one time. Of course, they no longer read my blog, and I cannot seem to build an audience. Oh well.
I cannot cry over that or any of my issues if I refuse to buckle down and keep up the blog at least three times a week. I also cannot let other things slip. I must start organizing myself better. I was doing well, and then I quit writing everything down. I am going back to writing everything down. My memory is bad and I must keep my lists and my schedules.
I must also do the tackle box for tomorrow. Robert wants to go fishing and it needs organizing and since I have OCD, I do it.

Wishes, Hopes, Dreams and Fits of Despair
Kellyanne Conway stated in an interview today with Phillip Bump of the Washington Post that “One wonders how different the political climate would be if consultants and pundits were put under oath before making comments.” This is a profound statement. I read this statement while reading Bump’s article, Donald Trump just off-handedly accused Ted Cruz of a federal crime, and it struck me as a statement is meant to be heard.
God is the one who used to keep the oath of man while in court, but now, there is no binding oath to God since He is not allowed in the government anymore. So, I am not sure the answers would be different. After all, if they are not bound by an oath on the Bible, then what are they bound by? What makes her think DT would be any more respectful if he was bound.
I am not sure how many times Donald Trump can get away with throwing a tantrum and America allow him to do so. He is derogatory toward women, Muslims, and anyone who does not agree with him, yet we allow him to stay in the race and keep winning. After the violence against protestors, the literal telling that he would pay for their court fees at one such rally, after the degradation of millions of people, you would think America would draw the line. (After all, women are more numerous than men.)
Hillary Clinton may not have been ever charged with a crime, yet she is criminal in her dealings with America and the people that have been in her past. The women that her husband was accused of having sex with never came forward past the accusations. No one has been doing any follow-ups, but rumors have been circulating that they were paid off. AND Benghazi is a subject that should have stopped her progression in the race, but here she is.
Bernie Sanders is a Socialist that will give our country away, but at least, he is honest about it. He is one of the honest few that are part of the governmental establishment. Or, at least as honest as they know how to be.
Ted Cruz is a politician and they are what we are trying to replace. He is the prime choice for the Republican National Convention, yet he is not the frontrunner.
The RNC has sent me a survey wanting to know how they can get back to the party they used to be. I answered the questions they gave me, but the problem is, they did not ask the proper questions.
I would love to have prayer in school (their question), yet what prayer would be the question (my question). I say all prayer. If there is a person that prays more than one time a day, then all of the children should get the opportunity to pray or not at the same times. This is a compromise that could be reached, yet we have no prayer instead. Just make sure that only groups have led prayers, no group led prayers. No one will pray if they do not want to. Anyone not wanting to pray should be given a break, be respectful of others and sit quietly while prayers are said. What would be wrong with this solution????
I think we like to make things complicated when we want others to think like us, rather than the compromise necessary for peace. Compromise is something that takes away from our purpose and gives purpose to others. We do not like to give into another’s wants when we have wants of our own. If we do, we consider ourselves weak. Is this true?
I firmly believe that we can gain more when we are willing to compromise and willing to give to others. I really wish others would do what they wanted someone to do for them. Maybe everyone would be willing to give. Now, that would be a great thing

Missing This and That
I have so missed writing this blog, even though I am alone in this. I am so glad to be back. I am super ecstatic too. I have been with my family for over a week and now I miss them because I am not able to see them like I was this past week. It has been bittersweet. My daughter has not asked me for much and when she does, I try to be there.
I do not think love has conditions, and the love for my family is no exception. We might not have always been the best of friends, but that is behind us. It is the future that I choose to focus on. This future features us as friends as well as mother and daughter.
I missed her teenage years, and even though I am thankful (LOL), I am also somewhat upset about it. I wanted to be there to help her through the times that she needed me, but I was unable, no need to say why. Now, I am able to be there for her.
I am able to be there for my family and am blessed to watch my posterity grow. I am so grateful and the last week with them was fun. I missed my husband, though. He was home while I was at my family's in another part of the state. This was quite hard, but I had my grandchildren to take the sting out of it.
My daughter's family is my joy and now her family is growing again. No, she is not pregnant, her dog had pups. So, I fell in love with a pup and now I will have a new dog in the house again. Her name is Estre and she will be a ride-a-long dog. I want her to be my dog so I can have one all my own that I train for me.
I have not ever had a dog of my own. Bleech is Robert's dog, no matter what I like to think. Now, I am going to train her to be kenneled while I am gone and she will be at work with me for some time to come. We will see how my customers react, but she will be with me. I pray that I will not have to take her too long, but either way, she will be mine. (She is the only brown one.)
